Do architects get involved with container homes? Are they an important part of the container home construction process?
The answer to both questions is yes. Architects design, approve and build container homes all the time. They understand the structure of a container house and work together with engineers to create elegant and beautiful designs that are environmentally sound and economically viable.
An architect’s blueprint or an engineer’s stamp will pave the way for city approval of your design, ensuring not only that the building codes are met but that your home will be crafted to suit. You can involve smart, benevolent people in your project and not go broke in the process. I was lucky to find an architect who was interested in putting time and effort into something positive, innovative and new.
And all I had to do was to offer him pie… His name is Murray Arnott. He said some pretty neat things about the project. Click here to read them!
